"At least it's a dry heat." If you are a resident of the desert southwest, this statement you've heard this a bazillion times from tourists from more humid climates. While, it's true- it's deceptive because you don't know how much you are sweating. People get into a lot of trouble this way so make sure if you are adventuring, you bring plenty of water.
